Minted Community Guidelines

Minted's Friends and Chat features are for supportive, age-appropriate conversation. You must agree to the in-app Community Guidelines before using those features. These public guidelines explain the same basic rules in more detail.

Treat People With Respect

  • Do not bully, harass, repeatedly target, or pressure someone who does not want to talk.
  • Do not threaten anyone or encourage violence or self-harm.
  • Do not share or request inappropriate sexual content. Keep conversations appropriate for teens.
  • Do not send spam, scams, repeated unwanted promotions, or deceptive messages.
  • Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are.
  • Respect privacy. Do not ask someone to reveal private financial details, passwords, contact information, or other personal information in Chat.
  • Do not use Minted to exploit or manipulate younger users.

Block and Report

Use the available Block or Report controls if a person or message makes you uncomfortable or breaks these rules.

Report reasons include harassment or bullying, inappropriate sexual content, threats or violence, spam, impersonation, and other concerns.

Blocking and reporting are separate actions. A report does not automatically block someone.

Minted may review reports and restrict accounts when appropriate, but we do not promise a specific outcome or response time.

If you feel in immediate danger, contact a trusted adult or local emergency services. Minted's report tool is not an emergency service.

What Happens to Reports

Reports may keep limited information needed for safety review.

Deleting an account removes its social identity and message text from retained chat history, but does not necessarily erase minimal moderation or safety records.
